Prashant Shenoy grew up in Bombay (Mumbai), India. He received his B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg at IIT Bombay in 1993. He went to graduate school at the Univ. of Texas at Austin, where he received his M.S and Ph.D. in Computer Sciences in 1994 and 1998, respectively. He joined the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1998, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Science.
